The Twoks – 13th February – Bennetts Lane Jazz Club
The Twoks have just returned from Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a music residency at The Banff Centre in Canada. With Xani Kolac on electric violin and vocals and Mark Leahy on drums and percussion, this art-pop electric violin and drums duo are heading back to Bennetts Lane to perform three intimate shows.
Best Music Award Winners at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, The Twoks have just returned from an international tour to the UK gaining four-star reviews for their performances at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The music created by the art-pop electric violin and drums duo has been described as “dark, gothic landscapes in a blur of electric rock”. The two seamlessly blend electronic experimentation with pop. “Not content with having complete mastery over the violin, Xani Kolac is also blessed with a voice smoother than melted Galaxy chocolate”.
If you haven’t yet witnessed the hi-octane energy of a Twoks show, then see them underground in the cool atmosphere of Bennetts Lane.
