We caught up with Laura from The Rock Tour who gives us her tips on the the must see sights on a Northern Territory outback tour.
What’s your name and what do you do? Laura and I’m a tour guide out in central Australia. Where are you originally from? Perth Western Australia How did you end up working in Central Australia/being a tour guide? I wanted a career change. What’s the best thing about it? The people you meet and working outdoors. What are your top 3 (personal) must visit sights in NT/Central Aus? Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, Kings Canyon and the West MacDonald Ranges. What’s your top animal encounter? Rescuing wedge tail Eagle from the side of the road. Is there anything you still haven’t seen? The East MacDonald Ranges. What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened to a passenger / on a tour? A women lying down in her swag holding up an umbrella as it started to rain at 3am in the morning. What’s the most magical moment of a tour? Watching the sunrise at the top of Kings Canyon and listening to all my passengers go wow this is amazing!
