Vampire Weekend Push Back Album Launch

Chirpy indie rockers Vampire Weekend have been forced to push back the release of their third album until May 10th following a delay in finalizing the artwork.

Modern Vampires of the City was due for release May 3rd, but they were keen to have digital, CD and vinyl versions of the album all ready for release on the same day and so delayed the launch while the records are delivered to stores.

The cover of the twelve track ep features a fog ridden cityscape looking downtown towards the skyscrapers. While the single, Diane Young – which was released last week shows a burnt out car on the edge of the East River.

You can pre-order the album now from itunes or wait a while to get your hands on hard copy.
