Yarra’s Leaps And Bounds Festival 2017 Dates Announced Yarra City Council is pleased to announce that the fifth annual Leaps and Bounds Music Festival is set to take over Australia’s busiest and most diverse gigging municipality from 13 – 23 July and introduce its 2017 new creative team.
What originally began as a push to back local venues, musicians and business through the quiet of winter, Leaps and Bounds Music Festival continue to nurture our thriving music community, showcasing homegrown talent from up and coming locals, to internationally acclaimed artists alike.
Opening Thursday 13 July, the 10-day festival will host a massive spread of over 300 diverse events catering to all budgets, and will feature around 900 acts from electronic to hip hop and jazz to rock, taking place across 50 participating venues in Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, Abbotsford, North Carlton, Clifton Hill and North Fitzroy.
