Thunderbird Park Trail Rides offers a range of options for adults and children. Everyone can enjoy this simple pleasure. It doesn’t matter if you have never been on a horse before or if you are an experienced rider, this will be a new, safe and thrilling experience.

Individual trail rides and longer rides can be arranged in advance. Take the Trail Ride priced at $50 for half an hour and amble alongside picturesque Cedar Creek. This ride is suitable for anyone aged more than seven years.

The Bush Ride at $75 for about an hour takes riders on a scenic trek to Thunderbird Park’s woodland mountain ridge. Be prepared to meet the natives; wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and goannas come out of hiding to see the horses pass by.

The Hill Top Ride ($95 for around an hour and a half) follows the forest tracks to the highlands. A breathtaking view to the Great Dividing Range is the halfway reward and a moment to remember as you ride down through sun-dappled rainforest.

The youngest members of the family won’t miss out as there are $10 pony rides for the little ones. Meet gentle ponies, capture the moment on your camera and enjoy a lead ride around the lawn.
