Newtown Hotel Cider Fair, Saturday 5th April

Newtown Hotel will be hosting a one-day Cider Fair on Saturday 5th April, with 25 different ciders and cider brands setting up in the idyllic Cider Yard.

You are invited to enjoy the flavours on offer from the likes of Bilpin, Batlow, Kirin, Hills Cider, Kopparberg, Dirty Granny and Young Henry’s, who will be welcoming patrons first hand. The small stalls around the cider tree will resemble a fairground, and every drink will be served in a small tasting glass, so you get to experience all of them.

Accompanying the cider will be Sydney’s most popular folk acts including Achoo Bless You and Betty Oswald, and the spit will be coal-roasting succulent pork for delicious rolls all afternoon.

The Cider Fair is sure to get your tastebuds tingling and tempt you to the sweet taste of apples, pears and berries, putting the Cider Yard and the Newtown Hotel securely on the map of must-visit establishments.

It all kicks off at 1pm with free entry, and visitors can purchase their cider-tasting tokens at the bar on the day.
