Bottom 100 – photography exhibition explores other end of the worlds’ Rich List This week a pop-up gallery in Surry Hills is hosting The Bottom 100, an exhibition of images of some of the poorest people in the world, and their stories of struggle and survival against all odds.
It’s part of a world-first initiative by Fund for Peace, a global organisation dedicated to fighting poverty, is launching The Bottom 100 to draw attention to the world’s poorest, who are struggling at the other end of the worlds’ ‘Rich Lists’, with the aim of giving those at the bottom a face and a voice for the first time. The Bottom 100 is a project two years in the making, spanning across 5 continents and 23 different nationalities.
