Wollombi Village Vineyard was a project created by Alan and Maria Roe. The first vines were planted by the Hoft family in 1994. The vineyard now produces chardonnay, Shiraz & rose wines. Their wines are sold at the cellar door and some at farmers markets. The Wollombi Village Vineyard’s Cellar is open on Saturdays from 9am – 6pm, Sundays from 9am – 4pm.

The drive from Sydney is just two hours and from Newcastle Airport around 50 minutes. The beautiful Tourist Drive 33 among Sydney and Wollombi is known as the convict trail. Bus tours and trains also depart from Sydney.
