Sydney’s iconic harbourside locale Luna Park welcomes New Year’s Eve revellers for this year’s instalment of Harbour Party NYE.
Headlining Harbour Party NYE 2018 is Australian Pop royalty THE VERONICAS, who will be heralding in the New Year under THE BIG TOP. Much of THE VERONICAS’ strength and appeal lies in the fact that despite the darker, brooding, wrought undercurrent of their music, their affinity with strong melodies and pop sensibilities allows listeners in, to relate to their emotions…and they bring the party! THE VERONICAS have proved their status as hit makers many times since their 2004 debut. Having amassed millions of streams and Number 1 hits both home and abroad, THE VERONICAS are now working on new material, some of which will be heard for the first time at Harbour Party. Joining the line-up is shimmering pop savant NICOLE MILLAR whose voice we fell in love with via the Peking Duk smash hit High and on the Golden Features hit Tell Me. Following the success of her recent album ‘Excuse Me’ Nicole will finish her year with her Harbour Party show where fans will get to hear all her hits including Tremble and Blindfolded.

Adding to the initial artist line up announcement is triple J House Party host and electronic force majeure KLP, who is undoubtedly the ultimate fun time DJ but a producer in her own right who lit 2018 ablaze with a series of killer singles including ‘Lost’ and ‘High’.
Included in the first line up announcement is the ‘New Generation’ of habitual party starters PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs. With a constantly dynamic and evolving line up, Purple Sneakers Djs: NEXT GENERATION features FBI’s Caitlin Medcalf and Eddy Diamand with PS sub editor Holly O’Neill. Rapidly outgrowing the shackles of ‘local artist’ to become an internationally in demand DJ, NAT CONWAY will bring both her DJ skills and her not to be missed live set with digital band, where patrons will witness just how amazing Nat Conway’s vocals are! Indeed, all the music talent performing this year in THE BIG TOP will be female artists, a move from organisers that is testimony to how many amazing female artists there are in Australia!
