.Net Developer Jobs in Sydney My client currently has two programs running that require Solution Architect services. The Integrated Information Environment (IIE) Program is a multiyear program based on a premise that information is the ‘raw material’ of policing and should be managed according to a value chain. IIE Program will deliver capabilities to support the entire value chain to use information assets to full operational advantage and transition my client into information-centric culture imperative for the modern law enforcement agency.
Job Role:
- Analysis of requirements and existing applications
- Creating new, and updating existing, design artefacts with proposed changes
- Implementation of proposed changes including liaising with testing, release management and operations teams
- Work effectively in a small, agile/SCRUM team environment
- Creation of continuous delivery pipelines to all targeted environments
- Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members
Role Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship
- Located in Canberra
- At least 3 years’ experience in development of software using Visual Studio (2013+), C# , .NET, HTML5 or WinForms
- Strong experience in WCF and REST based service technologies (WCF, WEB API 2);
- Strong experience with web based frontend frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript)
- Experience with MS SQL Server 2012/T-SQL or Oracle 11g/12c/PL-SQL application development
- Experience with Continuous Integration (inc. Unit tests) and Continuous Deployment
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry certifications.
Highly Desirable:
- Developing and maintaining Continuous Delivery pipelines using multiple technologies (PowerShell, .NET, Octopus Deploy)
- Producing integration and coded UI test suites
- Data-centric applications
- Detailed design documentation
- Producing/maintaining ER/physical data models
- UI and UX design and implementation to meet usability requirements.
