Applying for VISA
In order to work as a nurse in Sydney; Europeans are required to apply for a visa. Most European nurses work with a nursing agency that is familiar with the laws of international travel. - Registration and “Good Standing” as a nurse.
- Personal and Professional references.
Undertake a Competency Based Assessment Program (CBAP):
- Courses Accredited by the relevant State Nurses Board.
- Clinical assessments in an Acute Care Australian Hospital.
- Theoretical and Clinical assessments
- Nurses from the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, USA and Canada may not be required to undertake CBAP, depending on education and experience.
