Payroll Officer Aurec is an award winning organisation with offices across Australia, specialising in recruitment and staffing within Technology, Health Sciences & Financial Services sectors whilst working with many of the largest blue chip clients.
We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to work with our Finance and Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise and expand on your previous payroll experience.
Your core duties will include:
- Prepare and process all staff pay and super
- Payroll tax management
- Manage all payroll statutory obligations
- Journal entry
- Manage Leave submission and calendars
- Processing of new starters and job setups in payroll system
- Check and follow up timesheets
- Client invoicing
- Payroll system administration and maintenance
- Reporting as required
The successful candidate will have:
- at least 2 years payroll experience as either a Payroll Assistant or Payroll Officer
- advance Excel skills
- competent on all Microsoft Office programs
- payroll experience in contingent workforce an advantage but not essential
- attention to detail and excellent communication skills in an absolute requirement
- overall positive attitude and ability to take initiative to deliver results
- excellent customer service skills
