Since 1983, The Imperial Erskineville has been an icon and an institution of the LGBT+ community. The Imperial Erskineville Seven Comedy Pub Events in Sydney Australia In March 2018 this national treasure reopened to showcase her new look and keep the good times going.

Unique in style, diverse in culture, you can drink, dance, drag & dine at the ground floor restaurant Priscillas where self-expression, creative individualism, performance, dance and music is celebrated.
Basement
In the Basement, The Imperial’s party-loving soul shines brighter than ever. Two nights a week, this space will be a haven for live performance, DJs and parties hosted by your favorite promoter groups, including Heaps Gay, Girl Thing, Honcho Disko – as well as the Drag Xtravaganza on Friday nights with Farren Heit. It is a free entry event.
Special Events at The Imperial Erskineville
On Friday and Saturday nights from 9 pm until close, the Basement comes alive with self-expression, creative energy and flamboyant performance. Hosting a line-up of drag and performance art, live music, DJs, partnered and special events, the space will be shared with some of the world’s best party partners to offer Sydney’s most captivating nights.
Imperial UP
Atop yours truly resides a contemporary rooftop bohemia born from iconic Italian food and convivial cocktail culture the newest space is open 5 nights a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. The perfect place to get UP to no good – now open in collaboration with Head on Photography Festival is resident artist Jamie Eades for their exhibition Queerdom in Imperial UP.
Explore Yourself Sundays
It is a venue wide event that promotes self-expression, inviting the diverse and dynamic LGBTQIA+ and local community to journey through the fabulous queer subcultures. It is a venue-wide event that unites the Inner West and wider LGBTQ+ community.
Specials All Day at The Imperial Erskineville
With Drink Specials all day long. Trading Hours: Noon – 12am. Drink Specials: 5-7 pm. It is an entry free and the locations are Imperial UP, Front Bar & Priscillas. From 8 pm every Sunday, drag and queer performance explore new boundaries with Lip Sync Heroes, a lip sync competition open to the public and hosted by our fairy drag mother Farren Heit. Select your iconic track, and lip sync for your legacy! Make Mama Ru proud, raking in tips with our “Mitzi Moolah” and WIN prizes.

Now it wouldn’t be a true Imperial experience without a healthy dose of DRAG… And there’s no better Queen qualified to serve such fabulousness than Fairy Drag Mother, Farren Heit. Accompanied by her drag daughter Ruby Slippers and granddaughter Dammit Janet (yes lovers, we have our own haus!) have your pickle tickled with performances from 7- 9.30 pm.
Breko’s Trivia
On every Monday it’s part-trivia, part-comedy and all parts fun. It is a free event and starts at 7:30 pm in the Main Bar. Breko the venerable quiz master will have you gagging with games. Enjoy frivolous activities such as Tops & Bottoms, Uber Rating Bingo and Biggest Blower. A bubble blowing challenge that will have you puffing till your purple. Move over Edna that’s my bubble wand.
Melbourne Cup
Strap Up for Melbourne Cup. The Imperial Erskineville presents Jockeys & Jocks, a Melbourne Cup celebration (with a touch of fab-u-lash Inner West glamour!). With 2 packages available across 2 key spaces, this old girl is gearing up for an amazing day with multiple screens with live coverage of the carnival, drag queens and incredible food.

Down to Freak
It’s spooky and a little kooky! DTF gets freaky for Halloween. This production produced by Farren Heit, Ruby Slippers & Kalin Eade is set to be the ultimate spooktacular. Dress in your finest trick or’ treat ensemble and boogie on down at The Imperial.

1st November from 10 pm-3 am. Performances start at 11:30 pm.
Honchoween
Bring out year dead, to the biggest Halloween party Sydney has ever screamed with live performances by Minne Taur, Nova Gina, Vallarie Van Gogh, Connie Báthory. The DJ’s are Tilda Swagton, Matt Vaughan while the host is Burley Chassis. It will be held at the basement.
