The joint’s been going since the ’70s and there are two dry saunas, two spas, a steam room and private rooms for all sorts of mischief-making.

From beefy boys to twinks Bodyline offers a wet spot for everyone. Located in Darlinghurst it is gay-owned and operated. It has a huge spa, steam room and sauna on the lower ground floor where boys roam around free-range; a coffee lounge and cinema on the ground floor; private rooms and a video room on the first floor; and a great sun deck on the second floor. 

The Imperial Hotel

Located in Erskineville the launching site from the famous bus journey in ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’, this pub has been a historical safe space for Inner West LGBTQIA communities since the early ’80s. Head here for regular drag shows, fabulous food, and a killer subterranean dancefloor.

Boasting one of the city’s best sound systems and lighting rigs, this spacious, two-level club is by far the best decked-out club in the GLBT scene.

The Colombian Hotel

It is one of Oxford Street’s staples when it comes to gay bars. The Colombian’s spacious street-level bar features cushy booths for a midnight pash and bar-stool seating. While the crowd is predominantly gay and lesbian during the week, Friday and Saturday nights attract a mixed crowd of queers, straights and metrosexuals who walk like Tarzan but swing like Jane.
