What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – Bad Apple

BAD APPLE is the latest new night launching at Hugo’s Lounge in Kings Cross on the 29th of September.

The guys behind BAD APPLE are Ben Ashton and Jack Fuller from London who want to bring the European style of Jazzy Deep House and Twisted Disco incorporated with Live Percussion courtesy of Electric Vortex’s Robert Fay.

Added to the BAD APPLE lineup are Linda Jensen who for the past 6 years has held several residencies in Sydney, she’s run her own nights, played at more than sixty of Sydney’s venues, she has also co-hosted The Electric Groove show every week with Eddie Wong on Bondi FM 88.0

Lastly to the BAD APPLE lineup is one of Sydney’s notorious Deep Disco producers ‘MOONCHILD’. This 25-year-old has been delivering his own blend of fast-paced funk accompanied by heavy driving kick drums alongside artists such as Louis La Roche, Kissy Sell Out, Tommie Sunshine, Steve Aoki to name just a few.

As well as earning plays on BBC RADIO 1 and Australia’s own Triple J, Moonchild finally released his first official single ‘Love Birds’ out now on Sydney label VAMP MUSIC.

Kicking off at 8 pm on Hugo’s Lounge Terrace with Jack Fuller and his eclectic mix of chilled-out low-slung grooves and deep house.
