What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – Kaz James and Swick
If you have an ear for Electro then get your ass into Chinese Laundry this Saturday, December 3rd as they play host to two homegrown artists with international acclaim – Kaz James and SWICK.
Responsible for one of the biggest club songs to date “I Like The Way (You Move)” as one half of Bodyrockers, and with an international fandom that includes the likes of Elton John, Kaz James has been at the top of the Electro game for more years than he’d care to mention – and with his new album being co-produced by the likes of N.E.R.D and David Guetta, as well as featuring vocals by some of the biggest voices (including Kelis, Macy Gray and Sneaky Sound system), Kaz shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
As great in the studio as he is, Kaz is a destructive DJ behind the decks. He’s played some of the best clubs – Cocoon Frankfurt, Sensation White Holland, Angels of Love Italy and Pacha Ibiza to name a few – while also playing private parties for the likes of Madonna and Fashion Week around the world, as well as Chinese Laundry this December!!
Also heating up this night of epic Electro entertainment is Swick, who, at only 18 years of age, has already been gaining support from the likes of Diplo, Crookers, Drop the Lime and Savage Skulls. Having just dropped his second EP on Top Billin, ‘Flick It Up’ which has already been hailed by Triple J for its ‘massive tropical vibes!, and having just finished an official remix for Buraka Som Sistema’s latest single, ‘Hangover’, Swick is one young talent whose sure to stick.
