Koolism has been kicking around for a long time now, as a band they are older than some of the people you talk to in the pub. With age comes experience and this duo is experienced in giving a crowd exactly what it wants and continuously pack out venues.

Their latest and 5th LP is ‘The Umu’ was released in 2010 and has been received well both in Australia and abroad.

Hau is the lyrical wonder behind them who has been known to MC about race, religion and his views on the world.

If you’ve never experienced Australian Hip Hop then you really should. American, English and Australian Hip Hop is all so different. This is a gig worth going to, if not for the love of Koolism, do it for curiosity. Plus Upstairs in The Beresford is quickly becoming the most talked-about venue in Sydney.
