What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – Lawless Comedy Clubs
You’ve seen him on the Footy Show, Stand-Up Australia and if you’re a troop it’s highly likely that he’s entertained you at some point. Lovable Aussie Brett Nichols headlines the Oatley Hotel on the 8th and The Old Manly Boatshed on the 10th of August with dry Brit Paul Warnes hosting and comic’s comic Ben Ellwood as support.
New Yorker Peter Meisel may be an Australian resident now, but that doesn’t mean he’s lost that Big Apple, Seinfeld-esque sense of humour. You may recognise him from the Midday Show, Stand-Up Australia, opening for Robin Williams, or anywhere else he’s made you laugh in the 22 years he’s been doing stand-up comedy. Ably supported by the lovely Christina Van Look on the 17th at The Old Manly Boatshed, this show is hosted by Stand-Up Australia’s own Cam Knight.
He’s cooked for the Queen (true story!), had a number #1 hit (The Bloke – you know the song), and been a guest on every show worth watching from Good News Week to Pizza to The Footy Show. See one of Australia’s best-loved comedians on a rare visit to Sydney at The Old Manly Boatshed on the 24th and The Oatley Hotel on the 26th with support from deadpan Peter Egner and Melbourne’s Harley Breen on MC duties.
Shows start at 8.30 pm, see LawlessEntertainment.com.au for further info, maps, etc
