What: Mick Rock pretty much invented the art of rock photography. He’s done it all, from touring as Bowie’s official photographer in the early 70s to shooting classic album covers for Queen, Iggy & the Stooges, the Ramones and Lou Reed as well as taking definitive shots of everyone from Blondie, Talking Heads and Joan Jett to Lady Gaga, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and MGMT.
