What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – No Use for a Name
No Use For A Name just finished touring New Zealand and have hopped over to Australia to give us a slice of the action. They have 2 support bands; The Optional and Homeward Bound.
No Use for a Name was formed in 1987 in California and since then although they have aged, evolved musically and have had band members come and go, they still haven’t lost any of their energy.
With a respectable 12 albums and 6 EP’s under their belt, these boys, well men, have an array of songs to choose from when playing live. From Melodic Punk to full-blown Circle-Pit Anarchy, No Use For A Name make Punk accessible and enjoyable to not just the youngun suffering from teenage angst.
They are currently working on a new album, due to be released in either late 2011 or early 2012 so if you forget that Sundays the day of rest and get down to The Annandale Hotel, you might just get a sneak preview of some of the tracks.
