Coming up Saturday, August 20th, Chinese Laundry will be bursting at the brim with big booty bitches and even bigger bass-driven bootlegs as we play host to one of the hottest acts of the year – OH SNAP!!

Rapper. Producer. DJ. Singer. Jam band leader. Reformed raver. Practicing Buddhist. Social critic. Mickey Fortune’s life and career have been a panoply of constant change centred on an immutable love of music. As Oh Snap!!, Fortune has channeled both his acute production knowledge and astute, often hilarious, observations on society and trend-chasing culture to become a postmodern star in dance music.

On the upcoming I Love You, Bro EP, the producer and vocalist retains his wry social commentary on hipsters, club denizens and everyone else trying too hard to be cool (you know who you are), yet expands his sonic base with new ventures into Dubstep, House and Electro. The title track contains lyrics lamenting the lack of women at Dubstep shows and with previous tracks including “I’m Too Fat To Be A Hipster”, “Rich Girls” and “Single Girls Rock”, Oh Snap!!’s performance at Laundry is guaranteed to entertain and enthrall all ravers, rappers and dub rats alike!
