What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – RÜFÜS Tour Extra Shows

After a killer start to their EP Tour run in Sydney and Brisbane, as well as performances at the Sydney leg of Parklife and the triple j, unearthed party at the Metro, RÜFÜS announce even more shows around the country, including a November tour with Aston Shuffle, and a DJ Set at Sydney’s New Year’s Eve Party of the year, Harbour Party, at Luna Park.

RÜFÜS has been making considerable ripples around the world from the peripheries of Sydney’s indie dance music scene since early 2011. With skilled pop sensibilities, RÜFÜS’ combination of live instruments and electronic production create moments of dance floor euphoria and roaming lo-fi grooves. The result is subtly and undeniably infectious.

Locally the band’s live show has been gathering a loyal cult following, with growing intrigue from punters in their home town of Sydney resulting in more than a few sold-out shows. On the airwaves, RÜFÜS’ ‘Paris Collides’ and the band’s remix of the Elizabeth Rose track ‘Stars Ago’, have received national airplay with resident triple J DJ Nina Las Vegas giving ‘Stars Ago’ a 5/5.
