The multi-award-winning maestro of suburban absurdism is back. Sam Simmons returns home to Sydney after taking the Edinburgh Fringe by storm. The only nominee for the Academy Award of the comedy world from across the pond he joins only a handful of Australians to be recognized on the world stage in this way. Sam won fans, sold-out shows and walked away with more rave reviews than he knows what to do with. He describes the experience as “like being high fived by Robert Deniro whilst I’m riding on the back of white tiger wearing a silver cape gorging on lobster and champagne.”

Simmons is supported by David Smiedt who has supported huge names like Joan Rivers, Mark Watson and Martin Short. A regular on television shows such as Mornings with Kerri-Ann and having appeared on Stand Up Australia, David is the author of six humorous books and writes for a wide range of magazines. In fact, he is the only journalist in Australian publishing history to be in concurrent issues of lads-mag Ralph and Your Garden. Topical, charming and equally comfortable in all mediums, David’s comedy will entertain and uplift.
