What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – Shore Thing NYE The undisputedly best NYE experience in Australia, Shore Thing at Bondi Beach will once again play host to the party to round off 2010 and splash headfirst into 2011!

Previous years have featured some of the finest perpetrators of classic and cutting-edge tunes and this year is no different. No filler here, just straight-up killer acts that are renowned for nothing short of euphoric sets: David Guetta, Armand Van Helden and Aston Shuffle (LIVE).

DAVID GUETTA – From gay Paris to iconic Bondi…the man who claims “I am not trying to be credible, I am trying to be incredible” and oh how incredible, phenomenal, his success is! The LED wall will beam: ‘F**K ME I’M FAMOUS!’ turning Guetta into a silhouette as he welcomes the New Year in epic style at Bondi Beach. Let’s break out of the fantasy just for a second to take a look at Guetta’s accolades…a French house big-gun armed with the contacts to prove his god-like status on the global music scene, a one-man hit machine turning out star-studded collaborative tracks with Kelly Rowland, Will-I-am, Black Eyed Peas, Akon and Ne-Yo. Been to Ibiza? Then surely you would have attended Guetta’s legendary F*** Me I’m Famous! Thursday nights at Pacha – rubbing shoulders with everyone from Elton John to Boris Becker, Guetta has the world under a musical spell and shows no signs of slowing up. ARMAND VAN HELDEN – Armand Van Helden has been in the business of making party-tunes for ions. He has remixed the likes of The Rolling Stones, Erick Morillo, Dizzee Rascal, Daft Punk and even Puff Daddy. Van Helden’s unrivaled house tunes have seen him dominate the charts worldwide, with seven studio albums to date. Van Helden’s latest project, Duck Sauce, has seen him team up with DJ-all-star A-Trak to produce the major party hits “aNYway” and “Barbara Streisand” which have busted dance charts in the UK, US and here in Australia.

THE ASTON SHUFFLE (LIVE) – Fresh from being crowned Australia’s #1 DJs, The Aston Shuffle present their first LIVE show (ever!) in Australia at Shore Thing The poster boys of the nu-rave generation have arrived to up the ante once more on the soft and sandy shores of Bondi Beach. This summer the boys will go one step further, with the debut of their brand new live show to be unveiled at Shore Thing.
