What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – Soul and Disco Night “Motion” Motion is Sydney’s best 1970’s Northern Soul and disco night, held in the relaxed atmosphere and vintage character of the Hollywood Hotel in Surry Hills.

What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – Soul and Disco Night “Motion” The Motion DJs crew is made up of Northern Soul Poster Boy, DJ Burn-Hard (2RES Sounds of Soul), Dave Fernandes (HAHA Industries) and Dean Dixon (HAHA Industries)

The music policy is original vinyl only from the 1970s, all night. Northern Soul is played early on by Poster Boy and Burn-Hard, and the HAHA boys tear it up later on with their excellent 70’s disco records and their also excellent turntable skills.

the Motion crowd is a mix of northern soul fanatics, mods, disco devotees, people out for a fun night without the nightclub hassles.

Cover charge is $5 and it’s from 8 pm – 3 am
