What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – The Big Gay Weekend
With Sydney recently being voted the World’s friendliest gay city (over San Francisco, shock horror!) it is time to show the world why we beat the yanks with Mardi Gras fundraiser The Big Gay Weekend coming up to glisten, glitter and gyrate all over the October long weekend.
There is some serious debauchery planned for the dirty little three-day break and gay, straight or a BBM bisexual we will be right in there with our tops off ready to help maintain our reputation as the funnest place for gays to play.
Friday 30th September
The best thing about Friday is that it is the start of the long weekend and it is cheap as chips! Grab a $10 wrist band and kick off your working week shoes with entry to opening night Kick-off at Platinum Lounge in Kinsella’s from 6 pm then party until dawn at all of the Golden Mile that is Oxford street’s greatest gay venues including the infamous Arq, the historic Columbian, the new Nevermind, boys club at Midnight Shift, Dancing Queens at Stonewall, gay girls at Ruby Rabbit and a bit of fun at The Polo Lounge.
