Australian born, contemporary Pop / R&B singer Samara returns with her latest single for 2020: ‘Me and You’ (following up her successful and recent single: ‘Pull Up’).
Samara has banded together with another ‘A Class’ team, including her all-time favourite producer: Eric Erickson, alongside Daniel Williams, Excel Beats, song-writing genius Tezz Morgan, Ryan Streeter and Olivia Escuyos. This colourful and vibrant record will be released on September 10 (Samara’s birthday) as a reminder that regardless of the current situation, there is always something to celebrate.
After enduring COVID-19 and still suffering from lingering symptoms four months later, Samara’s resilience is like no other. She has decided to put all her focus into capturing the authentic energy of great pop music. Adding a blend of personal lyrics that bring a meaningful twist to her songs, Samara continues this theme in her latest song. At the same time, her songs are fun, easy to relate to and no doubt have been filled with some amazingly catchy arrangements.
What is unique about the place you live, or is it famous for something?
The Chapel St Precinct is well known for many things (pre COVID of course!) but South Yarra is especially known for great food, atmosphere and the Botancial Gardens!
Through lockdown, what has been your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Outside of drinking wine? Discovering new music!!!
Any side hustles or skills you want to share with us?
Relationship management is a huge skill of mine, I always want to leave people better than I found them. Human beings can sometimes really underestimate the power of being professional and maintaining strong connections. It’s what I pride myself on.
What cheeky banger has been playing through your speakers on repeat for the last 6 months?
I’m not going to lie, I love Britney Spears and the Pussycat dolls. So if I feel like I need to bust out an at home concert for myself.. those two are my go to’s!
Favourite Friday night dinner at home or restaurant?
Restaurant dining is one of my favourite things, due to lockdown I have missed this so much. Seafood and Italian restaurants are hands down my top two weaknesses.
