Early February signals the return of the nine-day St Kilda festival in Melbourne.
Celebrating Australian arts and music it’s Australia’s largest free music festival which sees the return of ‘Yalukit Wilum Ngargee’, a celebration of aboriginal culture acting as the festivals curtain raiser. ‘Live N Local’ gives Australian culture vultures the chance to attend intimate gigs as St Kilda’s shops and restaurants become live music venues, opening their doors to up and coming local talent. ‘Festival Sunday’ is the iconic final day send off, this year including artists such as While the City sleeps, Bluejuice, The Quirky Berserkey Newspaper Mama Band with The Midnight Juggernaut DJ’s ending proceedings as the sun goes down.
