Best Australian Native Restaurants in Melbourne Rockpool Bar & Grill

Best Australian Native Restaurants in Melbourne When you want a steak and not just any regular old steak, but the kind of steak you’ll be dreaming about for weeks Rockpool is the place to go. Whereas Neil Perry’s Sydney restaurant revolves around seafood, Rockpool is all about the beef. Buried in the Crown Entertainment Complex in Southbank, Rockpool is dripping with style.

Location:  8 Whiteman Street, Crown Entertainment Complex, Southbank 3006 Australia

Winter Village

Great place for views and atmosphere, food was amazing. They have proper plates and cutlery. It’s an amazing experience and we loved the atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. The igloos furnishings and ambiance were fabulous. My only regret was that we were unable to book for an evening. Very impressed with the whole Winter Village.

Location: Federation Square Car Park Rooftop, Melbourne 3000 Australia

El Camino Cantina

Great staff. Really attentive and looked after us well! A pity about the very long wait on drinks orders. Understandable when we saw the line up to the bar, but 40 minutes was a long time between drink times. The food was also fantastic and served very quickly. Loved the self-serve chips and sauce station too

Location: 222 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy 3065 Australia

Red Spice Road

At home in the heart of Melbourne CBD, Red Spice Road is the perfect spot for a mid-week dinner with your love. Spice Temple

If there’s one thing Neil Perry knows how to do, it’s how to win the hearts, minds, and bellies of his patrons. Just like Perry’s other successful food forays, Spice Temple, in Melbourne’s Crown Casino has locals head over heels in love. Created with business partners Trish Richards and David Doyle, Spice Temple is dark and dazzling, with rich toffee-hued lighting, comfortable seats, and dark wood tables.

Location: 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank 3006 Australia

Rosetta

Rosetta is Neil Perry’s beautiful Italian restaurant located next to Rockpool Bar & Grill Melbourne at Crown. The room is fabulously theatrical, oozing decadence and flare. Imagine lots of glass windows, chandeliers glowing from a domed ceiling, plenty of marble and Italian classics resounding softly from hidden speakers.

Location: Crown Melbourne, 8 Whiteman Street., Southbank 3006 Australia

Gingerboy

Located in Melbourne’s CBD, Gingerboy is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends after work. Get excited to experience their Asian inspired menu featuring whole fried baby snapper, and twice-cooked pork belly. We guarantee that you’ll be back again!

Location: 195 Little Collins Street, Melbourne 3000 Australia
