Fatboy Slim Revolver Review Melbourne Fatboy Slim’s been on tour in Australia and a few of us were lucky enough to have found out about his last minute pop up give at Revolver in Melbourne last night (Tuesday 28th Jan 2020).

Originally Fatboy Slim was scheduled to play in the Cage at 11pm but while were grabbing a drink at the bar in the packed main room, we suddenly heard the crowd cheer as the legendry British DJ stepped up to the decks and kicked off his set with one of his signature intros. Fatboy Slim didn’t waste anytime getting the buzzing crowd of internationals and locals going. Within minutes the dance floor was hot, sweaty and vibesing like a classic London club night in the early 2000’s. Those of you that remember Turnmills or The Cross will no excatly what I’m talking here.

What was the music like? Fatboy Slim kicked off his set with what we expect were a mix of his own remixes, mixed seemlesly with club classics from late 90’s with some of the best tracks spinning across dancefloors today.

For anyone coming through Melbourne, we can’t recommend Revolver enough. This is arguably Melbourne’s best club for underground house and techno and you need to tick this off your bucket list.
