Piknic Électronik Melbourne 2020 News Turn a Sunday into electro fun in the sun with Piknic Électronik in Melbourne.

Piknic Électronik has announced its full summer program for their sixth season in Melbourne meaning that at least one Sunday a month is now sorted for electro fun in the sun. The line-up includes five events which started on Sunday 17th November and runs until Sunday 29th March 2020, offering a spot just off the Yarra River to enjoy quality electronic music in the open air with the city as a glorious backdrop.  

Electronic music remains the focus and Piknic offers a program for fans and newbies who can enjoy the immersive social experience and the wide range of acts, from local talent to international stars. Detroit purveyor Moodymann will be bringing the classic soul and his own brand of techno and house dance music for December’s Piknic. Co-headlining will be Mr. G, known as the ‘Michaelangelo’ of dance music for his analogue bass-heavy electronic tech-funk, he’s also one of the most under-rated artists around. Detroit DJ, John Jammin’ Collins, will be adding his four-on-the-floor rhythm for Chicago house and Detroit techno. Matt Radovich has over 25 years experience as a Melbourne DJ including all major parties as well as weekly and monthly residencies at clubs throughout the city. Completing the line-up is UK DJ, Miss Farina, who will be bringing her crisp electronic sounds, warm basslines and deep, uplifting house stepping up to dubby techno.

There will also be an interchangeable roster of food trucks catering to all culinary tastes, including Burgers and Poke Bowls, to fuel you for the dancefloor. Whether you are deep into your electro or simply want to enjoy live sets in the summer sun with your friends, Piknic Électronik has something for you.
