Friday 25th November – Justice & Kaos present The Home Invasion Wrap-Up
What happens when you release one song every week for 30 weeks. You get The Home indVasian Series by award-winning Melbourne hiphop duo Justice & Kaos. You also get pretty tired. What started as a novel idea to unashamedly jump on the American hip-hop trend of the ‘weekly series’ has turned into one of the most consistent & innovative bodies of work by an Australian act (hip hop or otherwise) in recent times.
It’s being lauded as the best use of social media since Tom from Myspace stole all those credit card numbers and moved to the Bahamas. Despite a previous ARIA Award nomination and an Urban Music Award win, it is this series that has stamped J&K as one of the most versatile and underrated acts in the local music landscape. Time to see what’s causing the groundswell.
