THURSDAY 13 October – 7 pm – ‘AROUND’ Listening Party
Dreamland Recordings present Various Artists “Around” launch/listening party.
To celebrate the launch of our 3rd compilation we are hosting this little shindig in the city, as a means for all of the local contributors to gather, drink and be merry in the same place while listening to the album streaming in its entirety. Anyone and everyone is welcome, so come along and say hello. 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

EVERY THURSDAY – 9 pm – MOOD
The name MOOD speaks for itself… we are all about getting you in the right mood with groovy deep house, disco and techno tunes. We welcome people from all corners of the world with a love for good quality electronic music.

FRIDAY 14 October – 10pm – PET SOUNDS
The Good Things DJ’s bring positive vibes at this bi-monthly night of party music.

SATURDAY 15 October – 10pm – PROGNOSIS
After a MASSIVE night in August which saw a full club treated to an evening packed full of audiovisual treats, this October sees the Prognosis crew head back to Loop to write the next chapter in their musical journey. The feature set of the night will come in the form of a prog-breaks VS set from Dave Juric and J-Slyde. Progressive house wunderkind Rysh Paprota will also grace the stage alongside Budgie Collective front-man Square Eyes, and bush-doofing audio-naught Alex Butler.

TUESDAY 18 October – 7 pm – COMFORTABLE SHORTS
Comfortable Shorts is THE new monthly Short Film Night Servicing Melbourne! Comfortable Shorts will bring you the best Short Films both locally, and globally!. This exciting night boasts a live DJ, Prizes, Q&A with directors and writers, complimentary nibbles and a fully serviced bar.

FRIDAY 21 October – 10pm – FRIDAY NIGHT CRABFIGHT Launch Party!
Introducing a new monthly night of rocksteady entertainment fresh from the holiday isles – a mash-up of all things summery, soulful, tropical and feel-good to bring you a party from someplace you’d rather be.

SATURDAY 22 October – 10 pm – NIGHTS AT THE BOOM DISCO
Architronica Records roll into Loop for another night of bounce, shake, and boom. We take the house, techno, disco, and all other things hip-wiggling, expose them to heat, pressure, and your dancing feet to come away with a raw slab of groove that will stay with you beyond the temporal limits of the night itself.

TUESDAY 25 October – 7:30pm – LOOPDELOOP
LoopdeLoop is an animation challenge. Each month, animators from around the world create looping animations based on a given topic and upload them to www.loopdeloop.org. On the last Tuesday of the month, all of the posted loops are compiled and screened to a live audience at Loop Project Space & Bar.
