What’s on in Melbourne Victoria – Yelle and Toxic Avenger

This coming weekend in Melbourne’s Roxanne Parlour, France’s first lady in Electro, Yelle will perform her spirited, explicit lyrics, laid over booty-shaking pop electro beats by producers GrandMarnier and SiriusMo. Yelle writes songs about smaller breast sizes, lesbian temptation, dildos, sex and jogging. (Not that we’ve ever realized due to not understanding French – we just thought it sounded fun)

The Toxic Avenger, a.k.a. Simon Delacroix will also be performing. He is an electro thrash producer hailing from Paris, France. Taking cues from a wide variety of influences, from intelligent hardcore and punk to 60’s pop, The Toxic Avenger brings us a unique blend of melodic rage and screaming synths that whip audiences into an epic frenzy.
