What’s on Perth and What’s on Northbridge: The newest rock band in Perth, Western Australia, playing rockabilly, blues, rhythm and blues, and more…Inspired by popular music from the 1940s and 1950s, including the sounds of Janis Martin, Big Maybelle, Wanda Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Patsy Cline. Kyra Bee has always had a passion for music and has been singing professionally. Kyra has been a member of several local bands, performing original, contemporary, and roots music. Along with Hugh Veldon on drums and Richie Balazic on double bass, guitarist Matt Cahill rounds out the King Bees. Every one of the guys in the band has experience playing in local rock, surf, Rhythm & blues, and rockabilly bands. There will be no letdown with this fresh lineup…in tandem with a slapping bass, finger-picked guitar, untamed drums, and an equally powerful voice.

The Northbridge Experience Perth is hosting what’s happening. A five-piece, youthful, gifted band that plays rock, pop, and top 40 songs, and they know how to make the dance floor jump to the beat. Enjoying a wide variety of music, including new hits, old favourites, and unexpected covers. Until three in the morning, with the ever-reliable DJ and musical chameleon James Mac by his side.
