Dragonette Release New Single ‘Live In This City’

Taken from the ever energetic, electro-pop band’s third studio album: ‘Bodyparts,’ ‘Live In This City’ is true Dragonette fare, serving up that electro-rock touch, with front woman Martina’s raw attitude leaking from every pore of the song. Whatever city Dragonette’s living in, you’ll want to go there and spend a fun, long weekend!

Living in the capital, Dragonette is signed to the label Mercury Records, and has three albums out worldwide. Having supported for the like’s of Basement Jaxx and The Sugababes across UK, the Canadian threesome have been linked musically with many artists. Nicola Roberts, who had help from the band on producing and co-writing her single ‘Lucky Day’, as well as collaborating with many of the world’s biggest house DJ’s.

The band have also dipped their toes into the music puddle of French DJ Martin Solveig, recording tracks like ‘Hello’ and ‘Boys and girls’ together. They also flew to success winning the Juno Award for ‘Dance recording of the year’ with their massive track ‘Hello’, which features on Martin Solveig’s album ‘Smash’. They also previously won ‘Best Group’ at the 2008 Juno Awards.

After almost 2 years of hard working and preparation, Dragonatte recently released her new album ‘Bodyparts’, pulling from the mix her brand new single, ‘Live In This City’.
