Let Them Eat Cake 2020
Celebrate hedonism with Cinthie, Denis Sulta and HAAi at the eighth edition of Let Them Eat Cake
Let Them Eat Cake returns for its eighth edition on New Years Day and for 2020 they’re changing it up with a stellar line-up. As its name would suggest, the one day event is all about hedonism with adventurous stages set in the lush, spacious grounds of Werribee Park Mansion Grounds.
The line-up is suitably impressive yet so is the setting as the charmingly manicured landscaped gardens, lakes and garden beds are something to behold themselves. Headlining is the Berlin based DJ and producer, Cinthie, who will bring her classic and contemporary take on house and techno sounds. She’s also responsible for some of the most sought-after deep house records going as the creative brain behind the Beste Modus, Beste Freunde, we_r house, 803 Crystal Grooves and Unison Wax labels. Glaswegian Denis Sulta might be the next big thing in House with his vivacious, uplifting and melodic set which still manages to maintain underground vibes. Then there’s HAAi, the Australian born London based DJ who has won BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year and currently has a monthly slot on the radio station. She’s won over crowds at Glastonbury and Sonar Festival with her eclectic selections of intricate, detailed tracks, percussive elements and heavy basslines.
Make no mistake, there is an aesthetic beauty to the event that sets it out from the competition in its focus on decor, quality and space with an unmatched attention to detail. As one of the premier New Years Day electro festivals in Australia you may want to scale down your NYE or simply indulge yourself by throwing yourself straight in to the boutique extravaganza. Enjoy the sunset behind a magnificent late 1800’s mansion, laze by the lake with a designer cocktail or enjoy interactive art installations to suit a brilliantly diverse crowd.
