What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – NAIDOC Week 2010 THE National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) traces its roots to the Aboriginal groups of the 1920s who sought to increase awareness about the status and treatment of indigenous Australians.

NAIDOC week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Throughout July, many events will take place including Glebe Family Day with Tribal Warrior; Flag Raising Ceremony; Aboriginal Heritage Walk; and Sports Day.
