What’s on in Sydney New South Wales – The Comedy Store
Australia’s premier comedy club since 1981, The Comedy Store is a one-stop-shop for world-class comedy from abroad and in your own backyard. Known for his quick wit and caustic style of comedy, Eddie Ifft has a habit of speaking first and then thinking, which gets him in trouble – a lot. As a stand-up, Eddie has performed around the world. He has proudly told jokes in most comedy clubs in the United States, UK and Australia, and toured in more than 15 countries. This year alone he headlined across the United States and in Australia, performing to sold-out crowds.
Along with his clutch of awards and critical acclaim Stephen Grant must surely have the right to the title of hardest working comedian in the UK. It is not hard to see why Stephen is so popular, he possesses an energy and intellect which combined make for dynamite comedy. His speed and dynamism create magical energy that has audiences rapt and hanging on his every word.
The following week will see one of Ireland’s most exciting comedy acts in recent years, Dead Cat Bounce, take the Comedy Store stage. Dead Cat Bounce.
15 – 19th March (Ifft and Grant)
