What’s on in Melbourne Victoria – Winter Festival 2010 It’s the second and final week of the Melbourne Winter Festival – where Southbank is transformed into an alpine village with all the magic of a northern winter. The enormous 600 square meter Ice Rink is the focal point but there is a lot of food, drink and entertainment to keep you warm if skating is not your forte.
The Alpine Food Market presents the opportunity to experience culinary highlights from Alpine regions across the globe, while The Winter Bar will serve cool spirits and sparkling wine from the transparent bar, with Guest DJs performing for free each night.
