1. Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield Adventure Tour

Day 1 – Darwin to Litchfield National Park

Travel to the Litchfield National Park, home to towering waterfalls, delightful swimming holes, great walks, crazy termite mounds and epic 4WD tracks.  Visit Florence Falls and Wangi Falls and enjoy cool dips in the crystal-clear rock holes.  Admire the sculptural termite mounds, stroll through the amazing monsoon forest and enjoy a lovely picnic.  

Day 2 – Mary River Wetlands and Kakadu National Park

Go on a wildlife cruise in the Mary River Wetlands to spot crocodiles and native bird species.  Drive over to Kakadu National Park and go on the interpretative cultural walk where you learn about the life and culture of the Aboriginal people through the rock paintings of Ubirr.

Day 3 – Kakadu to Katherine

Admire aerial views of the Arnhem Land escarpment, vast flood plains and billabongs from the scenic flight over Kakadu.  Visit Nourlangie (Burrunggui), an Aboriginal rock art site that lets you glimpse at the lifestyles of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.  Also, visit the historic gold-mining center of Pine Creek, Maguk or Gunlom Falls and continue to Katherine.

Day 4 – Katherine Gorge to Darwin

Go on the scenic cruise on the gorgeous waterways of Katherine Gorge and admire the 70 meter-high cliffs hemming the waters.  Visit the beautiful Edith Falls and plunge in the huge pool before heading back to Darwin.

2. Litchfield and Jumping Crocodiles Adventure Day Trip

Cruise along the Adelaide River, home to huge saltwater crocodiles, and watch them jump out of the water to gobble the bait held high, with your heart in your mouth!  Continue to Litchfield National Park to dip in the cool rock holes at Florence Falls, Wangi Falls or Buley Rock-hole.  Awe at the towering termite mounds and admire the astonishing Mindil Beach sunset, sipping champagne!
