What to See

Take a guided walk on the beach among a colony of rare and wild Australian sea lions with a National Parks Ranger. Head to Vivonne Bay Bistro for a two-course lunch, followed by a visit to the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary where you will see koalas relaxing in the trees.  Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas.

Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch

The tour of the park will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provides great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing.

Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery

Visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you will listen to an introductive talk about the history of the oil distillery and take a guided tour. Finish off with some free time in their souvenir shop where you will find an assortment of Eucalyptus products. 

Seal Bay

Enjoy a unique experience at Seal Bay where you’ll get up and close to nature as the wild Australian sea lions frolic and laze about on this stunning beach.

Raptor Domain

Next, visit Raptor Domain to watch an ‘In-Flight’ Australian Birds of Prey Display. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience and meet an array of Australian birds and raptors. From here you will travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, see Penguins swim and play, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies.

Flinders Chase National Park

From here, travel to the westernmost part of the Island, Flinders Chase National Park, one of Australia’s largest and earliest conservation parks. Travel through the park and enjoy breath-taking views of its unique trees, plants and coastal scenery.
