Nyoongar People

The Nyoongar (also spelled Noongar) people are the original native owners of the South West Australia region. The Nyoongar tribe hunted kangaroos, possums, and wallabies. They also fished and gathered edible seeds and roots of plants. In the mildly cooler and wetter Perth winters, the Aboriginal people would clothe themselves in Kangaroo skin cloaks and build huts for tribesmen and women to live in.

Indigenous Artefacts

There are stone tools that are estimated to be 35,000 years old which were found at the Djadjiling rock shelter inside of Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Like, this? Check out this: Best Surf Beaches in Australia with Campsites.

For many people on a Perth to Broome Coach Tours, one of the most off-putting factors about moving abroad to Australia is its deadly world of arachnids, reptiles, and insects, so let us put the record straight and debunk a few myths about what might lurk in the long grass of your new backyard.

Here are the facts about spiders: Yes, some of them are big. Big and crawly. Yes, some of them are poisonous. However, no one has died from a spider bite in Australia for over 30 years. So if you can get past the size thing, you’ll be fine.

Having said that, make sure you don’t get on the wrong side of a Funnel Web spider because it’s one of the deadliest spiders in the world. If you suspect you’ve been bitten by one of the forty different species of Funnel Web spider, make a quick dash to A&E. Signs that you’ve been bitten by a Funnel Web Spider are…well, they’re unpleasant so we won’t write them here. Just do the A&E thing and get some antivenom down you.

Unless you’re Bear Grylls or some other alpha male show-off with a TV show, a Black Widow spider will leave you alone. If you tinker with its nest or provoke it in any way, it will bite you on the hand. From then on, you better put your affairs in order and delete your browser history because you’re not going to be around for long. Or get some antivenom. Actually, do that first.

Although arachnids have not been responsible for any fatalities in Australia for decades, snakes remain a deadly menace, and it’s these unforgiving inhabitants you need to be most wary of. Australia is home to seven species of the 10 most poisonous snakes in the world. Among the most feared are the Eastern Brown snake, the Australian Tiger snake and the not-at-allmisleadingly named ‘Death Adder’.

Then there’s the jack jumper ant. To put it bluntly, these things are vicious little b*****s. They’re venomous, scavenging carnivores and are responsible for more deaths in Tasmania than sharks, snakes, wasps and spiders combined, although only four Tasmanians have died of a jack jumper sting in the last 30 years, so don’t expect to be pounced on the moment you step off the plane.

And we haven’t even touched on the enemies lurking in the surrounding seas. But that’s for another article. In the meantime don’t forget that once you’ve defeated your irrational fears of things with more legs than you, Seven Seas Worldwide can handle your house relocation to Australia with its revolutionary door-to-door MoveCube ® service.

A short drive takes us to our picturesque campsite next to the beach, where we relax for the night. Watch the sunset with your new companions and enjoy a beer!

Perth to Broome by coach, second stop Geraldton and Pink Lake

Sleep with a hangover or swim early in the morning and hit the road by coach. Before the afternoon, we check the coast and the Geraldton museums and then head to the spectacular Pink Lake. The place to camp tonight is in the picturesque bay of luck, walking through the dunes or swimming while the sun goes down. There is a lot of space in the camp, so it’s time to upload the music and let yourself go at night.

Perth to Broome by coach, explore Kalbarri National Park

Hit the coach and see the scenic cliffs of Kalbarri before a quick swim and a cold shower at the mouth of the river. Perth to Broome by coach, Exmouth surf and water sports

With the right weather conditions, we can move to the beach in the city of Exmouth and enjoy water sports. Take out a jet ski and watch the dolphins and whales go tubing behind the jetskis to enjoy wild adrenaline or just relax on the beach.

Perth to Broome by coach, Cape Range National Park, Whale Sharks, Ningaloo Reef

Our lucky whale shark/hunchback swimmers will be picked up at camp early in the morning. The rest of the group will travel to the Cape Range National Park and explore the many sites. The sunset lighthouse really sets the scene for our last night together and, if we’re lucky, we’ll see the humpback whales breaking on the horizon! The night in the camp is an excellent time to spend with your new companions, make plans to meet in future trips or wonder how you can find a way back.

Dive with the whales

Ningaloo Reef, Exmouth
Snorkel the Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia

The opportunity to dive with these gentle giants is the opportunity of a lifetime and visitors from around the world head to the Ningaloo Reef during the whale shark season to do just this. These harmless giants filter feeders can grow up to 18 m in length. They navigate the oceans of the world in search of concentrations of plankton to feed themselves, and the Ningaloo Reef is one of the only places on the planet where they regularly appear in large numbers. Very little is known about the biology of these creatures, so the investigation continues.

An adventure playground on the Perth to Broome Bus and Coach Tours. Kalbarri is the coast and the outback in one incredible location, and there are many things to do as a result. Kalbarri is a part of the traditional lands of the Nanda people. They were recognized as the traditional owners in Western Australia, on 28 November 2018.  So they are the owners 17,000 square kilometers (6,600 sq mi) of land and water in the Yamatji region.

The story of the Beemarra serpent is the central dreaming story of the Nanda people. The Beemarra is, according to Nanda culture, an ancestral being responsible for the creation of the land and waters in the region.

Kalbarri was named after an Aboriginal man from the Nanda tribe and is also the name of an edible seed.

The first European people to visit the area were the crew of the trading ship Batavia, belonging to the Dutch East India Company, who put two mutinous crew members ashore near Bluff Point just south of the town. The cliffs near the river mouth were named after another trading ship, the Zuytdorp, that was wrecked there in 1712.

The area became a popular fishing and tourist spot in the 1940s and by 1948 the state government declared a townsite. Lots were soon surveyed and the town was gazetted in 1951.
