The Vasse Markets

Among the things to do in Busselton include visiting one of the oldest markets in WA’s South West the Vasse Markets. The things on sale include Fresh fruit & vegetables, handmade arts & crafts, unique gifts as well as delicious food. Support the community and care for the environment by shopping local; buying handmade, natural or pre-loved items. Over 75% of the stallholders sell what they have grown or made.
Vasse Art Award
The Vasse Art Award (VAA) launched in 2004 as a fundraiser for a small country primary school and has since grown to become one of the largest art exhibitions in regional Western Australia. 2021 promises to be yet another inspired exhibition, with support from VAA21 event partner Vasse Development as well as generous local sponsors, the exhibition and competition continue to attract renowned and emerging artists from across the country.
Exhibition
The VAA 2021 exhibition will be open to the public from 3 – 10 April 2021 at Vasse Primary School. Past exhibitions have welcomed hundreds of visitors and locals alike who have appreciated and purchased a range of visual art, photography and sculpture.

Megafauna Nightstalk at Mammoth Cave
Visiting the giant replicas of the extinct megafauna species and learn from the guides about the life and death of these supersized animals are among the things to do in Busselton. . Then head into the cave on a private tour to discover how fossils from 38 species were uncovered here in the early 1900’s.Finish with a night walk through the towering trees, lit only by your torch. Who knows what you’ll see. It does take place regardless of the weather.

SouthWest Youth Fest – Busselton
There will be a circus workshop with diablos, juggling balls, plates, scarves and hula hoops for ages 10 years and up. The color powder will be used for color games such as capture the flag and the good old color throw. A DJ will keep you entertained. Want to learn about standard drinks? The Busselton LDAG crew will be there to inform you of that and give free mocktails. You don’t drink, don’t worry, other informational stalls will be there to answer questions based on mental health, jobs and other youth things ( they might also give out free stuff).

Dunsborough Central Markets
Date & Time: 10 April 2021 from 8 am – 5 pm
Venue
The venue is the local markets in the centre of Dunsborough at the Lions Park.
The Dunsborough Central Markets are held the 2nd Saturday of every month and have stalls selling Fruits, Veggies, Pastries, Preserves, Olive and Oils, Arts, crafts , Entertainment and more.
