The Scarborough Sunset Markets kicked off their winter edition 29, May. They are open every Saturday from 3pm until 8pm. Bundle up in your winter woolies for winter bites and toasty treats. They have DJ beats and a roaring fire to toast marshmallows.

Best Wineries in the Swan Valley
Rolling hills and undulating vineyards formed the back drop for Simon and Maaike Berns’ travels through France in the eighties. The couple experienced the food, the wines, the French passion for growing grapes, making their own wines and their love for live ‘savoir vivre’. It was this inspiration that Simon and Maaike took back with them to Perth.
Simon showed his interest for viticulture and possibly making some wine for family and friends. So the couple purchased land in the Swan Valley in 1993 and began to plant a vineyard on weekends.
Best wineries in the Swan Valley include Sittella who opened a In 1997, a winery and tasting studio was started while they opened a restaurant and cellar door during Spring in the Valley in October 1998. Initially waiting and cooking at Sittella was the couple’s weekend job for the first period and it is among the best wineries in Swan Valley. Looking back over almost 15 years , the winery and restaurant have grown into a successful enterprise.

Ugly Duckling Wines
A charming, rustic cottage overlooking the vines is home to ther small boutique vineyard and cellar door and is among the best wineries in the Swan Valley. Premium wines, all locally grown and crafted, coupled with old-fashioned service and a friendly smile is what you’ll find at our popular spot that welcomes dogs in the outdoor dining area.
Enjoy a delicious platter of wine-friendly fare, or choose from the range of gourmet pies (some made with Ugly Duckling wines), while you relax and soak up the fantastic views across the Swan Valley to the Perth hills. Guests charmed by the food and wine can grab a souvenir including Ugly Duckling Wines cheese boards and glasses, olives, and wine produced from the vineyard which is among the best wineries in the Swan Valley.
There’s live music here every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and the occasional market day amongst the vines.
It is on weekends is between 11:30am and 1:30pm when large tour groups book. These groups bring a vibrancy and buzz to our venue.
