While getting ready for the New Year of 2019, Perth is waiting to enjoy some amazing festivals and events in the coming New Year.

Fringe World Festival

Held between the 18th January and the 17th February, this is technically a huge summer celebration which is highly popular in Perth, WA. Held annually for more than 31 days, it is considered as the third largest Fringe Festival held around the world. This celebration includes a circus, dance and theatre, music, street performances, comedy and children’s activities.

Perth Festival

The Perth Festival was earlier known as The Perth International Arts Festival. It is essentially a multi-arts cultural festival, and the longest running one in Australia which is held every year. You will get to enjoy many things once you visit the festival. Some of these would be;

The Perth Festival will take place from February to March. this festival will also offer certain free community events for you to enjoy as well.

The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra in Concert

This concert is a musical treasure for the people of Perth, and will be held at 7.30 pm on the 23rd of February 2019 at the Perth Concert Hall. Having a sound reputation for entertaining their guests with a great mixture of classical music and humour, their goal is to delight the audience with their high quality performances.

Perth Chinese New Year Fair 2019

The Perth Chinese New Year will be held on the 10th of February 2019 from 12 to 9 pm. It is a multicultural event which will feature many different kinds of events and activities for you to ensure that you enjoy your time here. There will be cultural activities, a parade, stalls, games, lion and dragon dancing, rides and a multicultural concert as well. These performances will help you see into the depths of the Chinese culture and will dazzle you with their intensity as well. So be prepared when you attend!
